NIU Huskies: NIU Signee Jordan Lynch Named Team Captain of Junior National Team

Northern Illinois University 2009 football signee Jordan Lynch (Chicago, Ill./Mt. Carmel) has been voted a team captain by a player vote for USA Football's 2009 Junior National Team that will compete in the 2009 International Federation of American Football Junior World Championship in Canton, Ohio June 27-July 5.

Lynch, one of four captains selected for Team USA, is one of 44 graduating seniors on America's first national team in the sport's history. The team has been practicing at Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio since June 14 and is scheduled to have a joint practice with Team Sweden today.
