Novak hopes to have defensive linemen Adam Schroeder (ankle) and Zack Holycross (hand) back later this week, though Craig Rusch (infection) remains out.

Novak said wide receiver Britt Davis will have his eyes examined this week. The sophomore from Riverside-Brookfield had an atypical case of the dropsies against Ohio, bobbling away at least four Phil Horvath passes. Davis doesn't wear corrective lenses, but his older brother Brandon, a Huskies tight end, wears contacts.
