Chicago Tribune: NIU's Novak: 'sense of urgency' this week

Regarding Buffalo's OT lose to Bowling Green last week:

Buffalo's special teams did just about everything a coach could ask against Bowling Green. Freshman Naaman Roosevelt returned a kickoff 94 yards for a touchdown and nearly scored on a 55-yard punt return. He returned four kicks for 158 yards and was the MAC Special Teams Player of the Week. The Bulls also blocked a punt for a touchdown, blocked a field goal and two extra points, all by different players.

"That's what got them in it," Novak said of the Bowling Green game. "I think that shows you they're coaching their kids on little things."
