"You approach them all with a sense of urgency," said coach Joe Novak on Tuesday at his weekly press conference as he looked forward to Saturday night's Mid-American Conference home game with Buffalo (6:30 p.m. kickoff).

The Huskies are 0-1 in the league after a surprising 35-23 loss to Ohio University in Saturday's home opener. And even though Novak thinks it's possible the MAC West champ could have three league losses this season, he knows his team has to get on track.

"If you get two losses in this league, you're not out of it," he said. "But if you start (MAC play) 0-2, it really puts you in a corner. ... And if we go 0-3 (overall), we're really gonna be scrambling."
